What is PictureCap?
PictureCap is a photo-sharing platform designed to make events more memorable and interactive. It allows you to create events, invite friends and family, and share photos in real-time during celebrations, parties, weddings, and other special occasions.
How do I create an event?
After creating an account and signing in, you can create a new event from your dashboard. Simply click "Create Event", fill in the event details, and share the event code with your guests. They can then join using the event code and start sharing photos instantly.
How do event codes work?
Event codes are unique identifiers for each event. When you create an event, you'll receive a code that you can share with your guests. Guests can use this code to join your event and start uploading and viewing photos. Event codes are typically 6-8 characters long.
Are my photos private and secure?
Yes! Your privacy and security are our top priorities. Photos are only visible to event participants, and each event is protected by its unique event code. We use secure cloud storage and encryption to keep your memories safe.
Can I use PictureCap on my mobile device?
Absolutely! PictureCap is designed to work seamlessly on all devices - smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers. The responsive design ensures you can easily upload and view photos from any device with an internet connection.
Can I download photos from events?
ZIP download for event owners is coming soon. The gallery (smaller photos) stays available for 6 months after the event.
How much does PictureCap cost?
We keep it simple: One Event (50€ — up to 15 days, display slideshow, 1,000 photos), and Event Pack (100€ — 3 event slots, buy two get one free; each up to 15 days + display). Every paid event includes 12 months of archive after it ends. See full details on the pricing page.
